Ivan has lived and breathed sport from a young age, with tennis at the core of his career. With over 35 years of professional tennis coaching experience, he is widely respected for his high-performance, detail-driven approach to player development.

A PadelMBA-qualified Head Coach and TSA-registered professional coach, Ivan is passionate about identifying talent, building strong coach–player relationships, and staying at the forefront of modern coaching methodologies. His sessions are demanding, purposeful, and tailored to help players unlock their next level, whether beginner, competitive, or elite.

Amber has been immersed in tennis since the age of four, combining strong sporting foundations with academic excellence. She holds a BCOM in Marketing (Distinction) and an Honours degree in Business Management (Cum Laude).

As a PadelMBA-qualified Coach and TSA-registered Play Tennis Trainer, Amber delivers focused, high-energy coaching with a strong emphasis on technical detail, tactical understanding, and continuous improvement. Her professional demeanour and ability to connect effortlessly with both juniors and adults make her a valuable asset in player development across all levels.

I started tennis again at the age of 36 after a 15 year break. I went to Ivan for coaching for almost 2 years. During that time he taught me in such a way that I’d never been taught before. I’d never heard of the word biomechanics which is the modern way of coaching tennis. Not only did he help me technically but also tactically and mentally. My TSA ranking improved to number 1 in SA for my age group. More than that, Ivan helped me find the love for tennis again.

I lived in Joburg for four wonderful years, and one of the best discoveries we made was the tennis community at the Bryanston Country Club, led by Coach Ivan. His individual coaching sessions and team training were exceptional—every lesson was well thought out, productive, and enjoyable. Ivan single-handedly built the tennis section into a vibrant community with both male and female teams. At the age of 50, he encouraged me to compete in tennis leagues for the first time in my life, and I absolutely loved it.
